DESCRIPTION:We want to thank all who made it possible for the 17th Annual Simona and Jerome A. Chazen Business Luncheon to be a successful business event\, where community leaders and businesses held up the vision of Simona and Jerome A. Chazen — to end domestic violence. \n\n\n\nThe Chazen’s have supported for 45 years and Simona and now her children continue to support the efforts of Center for Safety & Change in hopes that others will join and help us put ourselves out of business. The 17th Annual Business Luncheon was made possible by our business partners and all of you. Chazen Business Luncheon\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nKeynote Speaker: Kirsten Gillibrand is a current Senator and former Representative of New York. She was born in Albany\, N.Y. on December 9th. She grew up in Upstate New York in a family committed to public service. Her grandmother worked in the New York State Legislature at a time few women did and was a trailblazing grassroots organizer. Her father was a public defender and her mother was a lawyer who taught Kirsten about the importance of representing those without a powerful voice of their own. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 1988 and from University of California Los Angeles Law School in 1991.
