Working to End Gender-Based Violence in Rockland County
Our Engaging Men Initiative is an exciting partnership with Tony Porter of A Call to Men and a team of local community members. Through this program, our goal is to engage men and masculine-of-center individuals in order to advance the work of ending gender-based violence. Together, we are implementing an 8-step organizing plan to help educate and equip Rockland County men and masculine people, promoting healthy masculinity. Through meaningful action, we can help prevent violence against girls, women, feminine-of-center individuals and other oppressed groups.
